Faber Castell needed an artist to help them out with their new ad for their "artist pens". They asked Chan Hwee Chong, an art-director who lives in Hamburg, Germany, and works for Kolle Robbe design studio.
'We could go on and on about the Faber Castell Artist Pen’s precision and control, but we thought we’d just show you' - Faber Castell.
To create these works it took Chan 3 months. He needed precision and patience. If there is at least one mistake you must start the work all over again. By drawing circles and putting different pressure on the pen at different parts of the circles you get a visible image.
One word: Amazing!
